Meet Shalanda Lemafa-Giles, PMHNP-BC

Shalanda Lemafa-Giles is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who joined Phoenix Mental Health in March 2026. She is credentialed with most major insurance providers and is currently accepting new patients for medication management.

She holds both a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, where she also serves as a part-time Visiting Professor teaching Mental Health and Community Health Nursing.

With over eighteen years of nursing experience, Shalanda has worked across psychiatric, mental health, addiction, and military settings. She is a compassionate and dedicated clinician experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide spectrum of mental health conditions in diverse populations. Her clinical approach emphasizes thorough psychiatric assessment and developing individualized, comprehensive treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
